It is our hope that every year CUCC will be able to sponsor an annual Mission Project where volunteers will venture together to offer Christian service to those in particularly needful circumstances. We participate in projects in both the United States and foreign countries. Volunteers of all ages are welcomed.

In the Fall of 2006 members of CUCC volunteered with the UCC's Back Bay Mission in Biloxi, Mississippi. Their efforts led to the rehabilitation of homes severely damaged by 2005's devastating Gulf Coast Hurricane Katrina.

Making a Difference in Honduras
|
In the Spring of 2007, fourteen members of CUCC travelled to Las Magnas and El Pital, Honduras to work with the Juan Pablo Segundo Sewing Cooperative and the villagers of El Pital. They installed latrines, helped with carpentry, and brought over a Personal Energy Transportation vehicle for a paralyzed resident of El Pital in need of "the gift of mobility."
The second CUCC Mission Trip to Honduras took place from March 20-27, 2009. The Mission Team worked in the same locations, supplied materials for 11 additional latrines, and was able to participate in the construction of five of these "servicios sanitarios." We had a wonderful time working with our Honduran sisters and brothers and furthering the relationships which were begun two years ago.
